Connect an agent to a repository that stays on your computer.
RepoHop gives remote, MCP-compatible agents controlled access to Git repositories on your computer. Your files stay in their existing folder. RepoHop Local makes an outbound encrypted connection to RepoHop Cloud, and the agent works through the permissions you approve.

What RepoHop stores
RepoHop Cloud stores your account, device and repository aliases, permissions, connection grants, billing state, and metadata-only activity. It does not store repository files, patches, command text, or command output as application records. Your absolute folder path stays on your computer.
Repository contents and command results do pass through RepoHop Cloud over TLS while an active request is running. RepoHop v1 is not end-to-end encrypted.
Stay in control
Each connection is limited to the repositories and permissions you choose. Use repohop freeze on your computer to block writes, execution, commits, and pushes immediately. A cloud setting cannot clear a local freeze.
